Sea Meadow Inn, formerly the Isaiah Clark House, was originally built in 1783 and has been beautifully restored to retain its unique architectural charm and many original features. From the wide-plank pumpkin pine floors to 5 fireplaces, the 2-story barn with hayloft to the Jeremiah room featuring visible post-and-beam construction, you will feel the house’s rich history all around you.

The updated B&B style rooms, with their luxuriously comfortable beds, private baths, and exceptional amenities offer a peaceful night’s sleep after a day of exploring the National Seashore, Provincetown, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, or just relaxing on a beautiful bay beach around the corner from the inn.  Wake up to an unforgettable breakfast in our bright and airy dining room or terrace overlooking the peaceful grounds.

Set on several serene acres, the sunroom and porch look onto gardens that are filled with local flowers, butterflies, and other wildlife.  Enjoy the tree swing under the 200-year-old maple, relax on the hammock, or enjoy the world-famous birdwatching from the comfort of the back porch. After a day at the beach, the outdoor shower and changing room help keep the sand outside, while the grill and outdoor firepit are perfect for enjoying the mild evenings with family and friends. 

After a peaceful night’s sleep, spend the day exploring the National Seashore, Provincetown, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, or just relaxing on the beautiful bay beach a short walk from the house.  Located in the lower cape city of Brewster on historic 6A, the Inn enjoys a central location for a home base while you travel the Cape in any direction. We are only 20 minutes from Hyannis, 45 minutes from Provincetown, 2 miles to the Cape Cod rail trail and a short walk to Paine’s Creek Beach, Natural History Museum and the Brewster flats.
