Sandy Neck Beach
Sandy Neck is a pebbly beach located in Barnstable, which is in mid-Cape Cod. This beach is famous for its 4,700 acres of dunes, marshes, and forests and it’s very picturesque. Sandy Neck also doubles as a wildlife refuge for the endangered piping plover bird. There are dozens of off-roading trails and paths for walking.
Race Point Beach
This beach is in Provincetown and is known for surfing because of its rough waters. If surfing isn’t your thing, there are also shallow waters which are great for swimming. Race Point Beach is also right next to the popular Province Lands Bike Trail which has great biking trails.
Breakwater is right near the Sea Meadow Inn and is popular because of its soft sand and calm waters. There are great tide pools and during low tide, you’ll be able to find some of the best seashells. This beach is truly serene and perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
